150 gmblack glutinous rice
1500 mlWater
100 gmpalm sugar/ Gula Melaka
3 pcsPandan leaves, knotted
For the coconut sauce
200 mlcoconut cream
1/4 tspSalt
Instructions
- Wash the rice and soak in the 1500 ml water overnight.
- Put in the pandan leaves, rice , sugar and soaking water in the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid and turn the pressure valve to sealing. Press Porridge function and set on High pressure for 30 minutes.
- When the cooking cycle is completed, naturally release the pressure.
- Serve the pulut hitam hot in bowls and pour the coconut sauce drizzled on top.
- Optional: serve with Avocado ice cream for perfect indulgence.
