200gShrimp
3 tbsp Cooking Oil
6 tbspSambal
2Lemongrass
1large Onion
3 clovesGarlic, minced
1 tbspTurmeric Powder
2 tspSalt, or to taste
2 tspSugar, or to taste
1/4 cupWater
Instructions
- In your Duo Plus, add oil and let it heat up over medium heat. Sauté your chopped onions, garlic and bruised lemongrass.
- Add and sauté sambal until it has a toasty scent.
- Add turmeric powder, water and season with salt and sugar to taste. Stir to combine, and allow this to come to a boil.
- Once the sauce boils, add the squid and shrimp. Stir to combine with the sambal sauce and allow them to cook till tender.
- Once they're cooked, the Sambal Sotong & Udang is ready to serve!
